Virgin Atlantic 24-hour Cancellation Policy

Virgin Atlantic has 24-hour cancellation which assures customers to cancel their flight without any additional cost. Virgin Atlantic cancellation policy is applicable to all tickets cancelled under Virgin Atlantic 24 hour cancellation. 

• Passengers can cancel their flight within 24 hours to receive full refund given that the booking has been made 7 days prior to scheduled departure. 
• If passengers cancel the ticket after 24 hours of making a reservation, then the passenger has to pay the cancellation fee depending upon the type of the ticket. 
• This policy applies to both refundable and non-refundable tickets.

Virgin Atlantic Cancellation Fee for refundable and Non-Refundable Tickets

• Passengers with refundable tickets can receive full refund even after the risk-free period ends. 
• Passengers with non-refundable tickets won’t receive any refund after a 24-hour risk-free period. 
• According to Virgin Atlantic Cancellation policy, passengers with Upper Class tickets (Business class) can cancel their ticket irrespective of refundable or non-refundable without any additional cost.

Virgin Atlantic No-Show Cancellation Policy

Customers who fail to show up for their flight without cancelling or changing their reservation, then they are considered a no-show by Virgin Atlantic. In such cases, there are some different regulations for the passengers under the no-show policy. 

• For non-refundable tickets, there are no refunds and the value of the ticket will be forfeited in case of no-show as per Virgin cancellation policy
• For partial flexible fares, only government and airport taxes will be refunded. 
• Fully flexible fares are subject to penalty fee however, the remaining amount of the flight will be refunded to the customer.

Virgin Atlantic Cancellation Policy for Reward Flights

Passengers travelling on award flights can cancel their ticket, and have to follow different policies curated for cancellation of award flights. 

• In case of cancellation of any reward ticket promoted by Virgin Airlines are subject to cancellation fee of $50. 
• If a passenger is cancelling the reward flight before the 24 hours of scheduled departure then the airline will re-credit the entire miles point back to the passengers account as per Virgin Atlantic Cancellation policy. 
• Upon cancellation, the airline will charge $50 as cancellation fee on flights originating from the U.S. 
• The airline does not permit any name change once the reward flight is booked.

Virgin Atlantic cancellation fee depends on destinations, time between schedule departure and revocation along with fare type. 

• For flights originating in the UK, the cancellation fee can cost around $36.

• For flights originating from anywhere in any other region will cost $50.

Online Method

• Go to the Virgin Atlantic official website. 
• Look for the “Manage Booking” tab on the homepage
• Click on it to proceed with your reservation information including last name, and book reference number and ticket number.
• Once adding necessary information, click on proceed to retrieve your booking details.
