• Virgin Atlantic Airways online check-in starts 24 hours and closes 70 minutes before their scheduled flight departure. 
• For passengers who are travelling from Caribbean islands on one of the inter-island services cannot check-in online. 
• For flights from Barbados to St. Vincent and Grenada, check-in will be available from 2 hours before the scheduled departure of the flight. 
• While for flights from Grenada and St.Vincent to Barbados, check-in starts 4 hours before the scheduled flight departure.

The airline advises passengers to carry all the necessary documents that are required for check-in. Also, passengers should reach the airport to check-in in case of any query or they can also contact the airlines via their customer support number. 

• Passengers should carry their necessary government photo proof to prove their identity. 
• For international travel plans, passengers are requested to carry a visa and passport with at least 6 months of validity.

• If a Virgin Atlantic Airways flight is cancelled voluntarily by the airline then passengers are eligible to receive alternate flights to the same destination or complete refund.

Virgin Atlantic 24 hour Cancellation Policy

The airline offers a 24 hours cancellation policy to customers which assures them to cancel their flight without any additional cost. The 24 hours cancellation policy is applicable on all Virgin Atlantic Airways tickets. 

• Passengers can cancel their flight within 24 hours to receive full refund given that the booking has been made 7 days prior to scheduled departure. 
• If passengers cancel the Virgin Atlantic Airways ticket after 24 hours of making a reservation, then the passenger has to pay the cancellation fee depending upon the type of the ticket.

Virgin Atlantic Airways Refund Policy

Virgin Atlantic refund policy ensures flexibility and assurance to customers. The refund policy helps customers seek appropriate refunds in case of cancellation, rescheduling or in other circumstances. However, the refund policy depends on the fare and cabin class purchased by the customer along with the type of Virgin Atlantic Airways ticket. 

• Passengers with non-refundable ticket fare can receive government taxes and fees as refund after the cancellation fee of $41. This is only applicable to flights originating in the UK as per Virgin Atlantic refund policy.
• Refunds will only proceed in the same currency that was used at the time of booking. 
• Passengers can also cancel their non-refundable ticket due to unforeseen circumstances that are beyond customer’s control. 
• Passengers who are entitled for Virgin Atlantic flights are eligible for cancellation compensation if the airline is informed about the delay or cancelled within 14 days before the scheduled departure.
